Intuitive, informed, independent
Market-leading residential advisory services for private clients
Thea Carroll Property Consultancy was founded to answer a growing need for clients to cut through the noise of the London property market.
The clients are at the core of everything we do and the long-term health and growth of their property affairs is our only priority.
Backed by a panel of thought-leaders, economists and financiers, clients receive market-leading, impartial, strategic advice.
Thea helps clients navigate a complex marketplace across search, acquisition, rental, disposal advisory and investment landlord advisory from £1m up to £100m.
Utilising an extensive network of peers and contacts, Thea helps clients by advising and discreetly acquiring exceptional, uncompromised properties, 76% of which are before they have reached the open-market. Every aspect of the purchasing process is handled on the client’s behalf.
Accessing the finest opportunities within the frenetic rental market, we provide short and long-term rental solutions for individuals and companies. A service which is particularly popular with sports and media-based individuals.
Deploying market-leading advice and strategy, further supported by an experienced advisory board, we aid clients in the disposal of assets; further broad term consultancy including valuation advice; landlord lettings advisory; which consists of assisting in the instruction of agents, negotiation of offers and managing transactions.
We have known Thea since 2013 and have engaged her company for their property services for the family. She is a learned advisor and we are very satisfied with the results.
Private Family Office, Asia
Thea’s service was more personal than I was expecting, as well as the level of detail and aftercare. She really got to understand what we wanted and why. We were personally recommended to another buying agent. Personal recommendation is a hard thing to beat but Thea won us over with her knowledge and professionalism. Her contribution was beyond my expectations and she was instrumental in ironing out problems. She seamlessly managed me, my other-half and my eldest; all different characters with different needs but with the same result. I felt like the only one! We wouldn’t have found the property without her and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Private Financial Services Client
Thea is fabulous and one to watch. She will fight for her clients.
Chambers Directory 2019
Excellent negotiator, responsive, firm, gives great advice. Bought twice now with Thea and we’re currently lining up a third!
Private Commodities Client
I have worked in the private client sector for 20+ years and came across Thea while working on a deal together. She is simply excellent. Razor-sharp, tenacious and driven entirely by the client’s best interest. She delivers far beyond her years and would not have been wasted as a barrister should she have chosen to use her law degree.
Family Office Advisor
Our studio retained Thea to search for rental properties for some of the high-profile members of the cast. She was discreet, effective and highly efficient in getting all of the briefs sorted while dealing with some very demanding parties. We actually tried to hire her as an AD on the film after that.
Having lived in the same house for 35 years and coming to the search with very different ideas, we were not easy clients. Thea put a great deal of time and thought into our requirements and was tireless in showing us different options. Eventually, with her help, we were both able to see more clearly what our priorities should be and have ended up somewhere which ticks every box.
UK High Court Judge
Time is something I don’t have. Thea was an ideal remedy – my wife and I both work in the City. Thea was tireless in her search for us. She stuck with us (our brief changed a few times) and ended up negotiating us the deal of the century on a penthouse in Notting Hill.
Mr and Mrs Kolev
Thea was a steady-hand during a tough period. She is emotionally intuitive and I don’t think I could have done it without her. The advice and support was thoughtful and informed, you could really tell she wanted what was best for me. She found me a stunning flat on the exact road that I wanted and relieved me of all the stress in the process.
Her Honourable R B
Thea was very understanding and empathetic and quickly spotted what we wanted. She showed us a good range of properties and quickly narrowed it down to where we wanted to go. The negotiation process went very smoothly. Thea was sensible and realistic, she held firm and gave good advice. We ended up achieving a phenomenally good buy in the end. We have referred a close friend to her, who she has already found for.
Senior Legal Partner, Cayman Islands
I was initially reluctant to use a buying agent but we were recommended to TC by our lawyer (having been searching for a year). She instantly put us at ease when we met and was clearly very capable. In that hour, she highlighted where we had been going wrong for the last year, suggested other ideas and actually showed us an off-market house she’d prepared earlier. I’m typing this review from the kitchen table of that off-market house.
Dr & Mrs Cohen
We were moving from abroad, so we had to find the house on one visit. Thea handled the pressure excellently and found us a house that had just been renovated. It fit our family’s every requirement and was more than we expected size-wise and for the price. There were three bids and Thea managed to convince them to take our offer which was the lowest!!
Tech Founder, Canada
We live abroad in a small ex-pat community. Most of the women at my bridge club have been bought for by Thea! She’s wonderful to deal with and is a steady-hand in giving excellent advice in what can be a very confusing marketplace.
Private Client, Singapore
My family have bought some investment property in London through Thea. We were introduced through my bank who recommended her. Thea was very clear about where we should and shouldn’t put our capital. The portfolio has performed above expectations even with the poor market. I found her service extremely valuable.
